Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) |
Blue Ridge performs Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) to determine the nature of potential environmental issues at a site during a real estate transaction or refinancing. ESAs involve four key steps: site and area reconnaissance, records research, interviews, and reporting. Blue Ridge personnel have performed hundreds of ESAs across the United States at residences, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. Environmental concerns frequently identified include underground storage tanks, aboveground storage tanks, transformers and hydraulic equipment, chemical and petroleum substances, and septic tanks.
